word origin: trivia

Medieval colleges were broken into two sections of study.

Quadrivium consisted of: Math, Geometry, Astronomy, and Music.

Trivium consisted of: Logic, Rhetoric, and Grammar.

Trivium= trivia. Yep, that's me. I'm getting a degree in trivia.
