This is me. A blog about my daily life and slices-of-life. It's honest, it's funny, it's sad, it's witty, it's sarcastic, sometimes it's soapbox-ish, it sometimes rambles, sometimes it's artsy, sometimes it's dorky but, it is always honest and always me. (Which ever "me" decides to show up on that particular day.)
Simply put, it's just my daily world that I'm trying to sort out the only way I know how, through words.

inner dork: a watched pot
Two weeks in a row! Holy cow, inner dork is really back!
Did you know that water boils at 212 degrees Fahrenheit at sea level, and at 150 degrees Fahrenheit at the top of Mount Everest.
What I want to know is why doesn't the world have standardized measurements?
Temperature is temperature. In my land, water freezes at 0 degrees. But in Kelvin, 0 is WAY colder.
A US gallon is bigger than a Canadian or UK gallon. WHY??
And how come 99 cents at your corner store is equal to 99 cents at my corner store, but if we each get one more penny, I wind up with $1 and you get $1.15?
