Because of his shear zest, zeal, passion, and joy for life and for animals.
Because each of us should have that much enthusiasm for what we do each day.
Because he educated all of us while making us laugh.
Because he loved his job.
Because I'm sure he didn't see it as a 'job.'
Because he died doing what he loved.
Because hopefully his wife and kids will remember him for his enthusiasm and pass it on with their lives.

The guy oozed "joie the vivre". I admired him for that!
Sad loss for sure. I'm sure there are those out there who will mock him, but you can't take away the love he had for his job. Tragic loss no doubt about it.
GG: For that alone I admired him.
DNA: Exactly.
Egan: I feel for his wife, kids, and after hearing what his dad had to say, him as well. Sad day.
Well, if life is gonna be cut short - at least he made the very most of his short one!! Not too many people can say that!
