This is me. A blog about my daily life and slices-of-life. It's honest, it's funny, it's sad, it's witty, it's sarcastic, sometimes it's soapbox-ish, it sometimes rambles, sometimes it's artsy, sometimes it's dorky but, it is always honest and always me. (Which ever "me" decides to show up on that particular day.)
Simply put, it's just my daily world that I'm trying to sort out the only way I know how, through words.

word origin: graffiti
Did you know graffiti comes from the Greek meaning 'to write?'
Me, neither. I learned it this past weekend while I was watching a documentary about something or other.
I guess they all originate from the latin root, "graph" which means write. Hence, Photograph = "to write the light" and so on. It's really interesting how completely unrelated words are connected by these roots
My favorite documentary was the one on the history of the porn industry. I think it was called "The History of Long Don Silver" on The History Channel.
It's no coincidence that I do my best writing in the bathroom. So far I haven't been caught.

ReplyDeleteP: And it's no coincidence that I do my best reading there as well.
ReplyDeleteDNA: Word origins are very interesting to me.
Angry: Hmmm, something tells me there is a tall tale in there somewhere...
