I don't want to write about what's really on my mind, so I thought I would ask a question instead.
Do you have any tattoos?
If so, who, what, when, where, why, and how come?
Me? My body is naked of any permanent body art. I've thought about getting one several times. I created my own designs and then I sat on them for a year. If I still wanted it after a year then I would get it. I never did. Thank god for the ability to look ahead.
Piercings? Got any?
Me? Just my ears. Six on each ear. I got the first one at three-years-of-age and the last when I was twenty.
Thought about getting my belly-button and nose pierced. Sometimes one of my nipples. Thus far just my ears.

I have one tattoo - on my ankle. It's an Irish trinity knot that, sadly, is featured in the TV show Charmed. I can't tell you how many times people say "oh cool! the Charmed symbol!"
It means so much more than that! Frustrating, but I love my tattoo so much that I don't care. I love that it's simple and small and that you don't notice it immediately.
I have one tattoo, the kanji ideogram for water (see it here) on my right hand. I chose that tat become of its symbolism in life, motion, renewal and cleansing.
I have one piercing. I wear a small gold hoop in my left ear.
I have a tattoo on both shoulders. On the left is an eagle with the American flag in its mouth with the letters "USAF" under it. (I was 18, in the Air Force, and stupid.) The one on the right is a rose with a phrase in cursive, "For the love of one". (I was 19, engaged to be married, and stupid... AND the "one" was almost "Lisa"!)
I came to my senses at the last minute.
I have both my ears pierced with 10 gauge hoops. I used to have 5 piercings in each ear, including cartilage, but they were annoying. I also had a laberet, (piercing just below the bottom lip, just above the chin.) I took that one out due to job constraints.
I don't have any plans for future piercings, but I am currently mapping out a new grandiose tattoo that will cover my entire back and both of my shoulders, including my current tattoos. It will take nearly a year to conplete and cost me somewhere around $3,000.
Your body is a temple. I like mine adorned with art. :)
.
Just one: "Thank you for your business. Please come again." But it was a drunken, impulsive act, and I'm way too embarrassed to reveal the location.

(Actually, - due to mom's influence - I don't have any tattoos. Every once in awhile, I stop to consider one. But never follow through. I picture her yelling at me. No piercings either. I don't like to wear jewelry ... not even a watch ... though I do for convenience.)
.
I got nuthin. No tatts, no holes. (remember I posted on that topic a long time ago?)
Although, if I were to get a tattoo, it would have to be something kitschy; like a little man pushing a lawnmower through my matted hair.
I have my nose pierced. on the left hand nostril. I had a friend in High School who was Indian and her mother had her nose pierced. I thought it was so gorgeous and I waited 6 years to give it to myself as a present for graduation from college.
The tattoo I want is a picture of medusa that I found while doing research when I directed my first play. Also the play that taught me I want to make plays for a living. I'm waiting for a big event (perhaps graduation from grad school?) to get it.
No body art for me. I look like a freak already... no extra help needed.
Girlgoyle. you bothered because now I have ONE MORE THING that I can visualize and fantasize about.
Bre: That sounds very nice, simple, elegant, and feminine.
Joe: Is it on your palm? By your thumb?
Jay: Oh, why thank you!
You will have to keep me posted on the progress of the body art.
P: Mom would be an influence on me as well, however, she isn't stopping me from getting one. Truly, I can't settle on a design.
OMC: I know the question isn't original, but I am curious to see what people are into and such.
I think I'll get one on my ass that says: tap this
Goddamn, but I wish I would have thought of that yesterday!
HST: I've really thought about getting a tiny, tiny diamond stud in my nose. We'll see.
Twisted: cute. You're already perfect, isn't that it?
GG: I've heard some serious horror stories about navel rings. ...and tongue rings..and clit rings....yickers!
One bit of self-designed artwork, two piercings that make it look as if I'm constantly cold and one former piercing that made wearing tight pants a bit dfficult.
Pierced Meat: I had no idea! Color me blushin' with daydreams.
I also want to ask you if it's cold outside or if your just wanting to see my Mammy Meats.
