a vacation. that's all I've ever wanted

Vacation have to get away... sing it Go-Go's, sing it!
One 2-page paper
One 5-page paper
One 6-page paper
One 12-page paper
One 16-page paper
Journals: minimum of 2-pages every two days for five weeks.
One 20-minute presentation.
One 25 minute presentation.
40 hours of work.
16 credits of classes.
Not a day or an hour off since May.
I was supposed to have a this whole week off.
Instead I have three days.
Three is better than none.
My last day of school was Saturday.
My next class starts this Saturday.
I am going to relax and rest my brain for the next few days.
I'm hoping my creative spark comes back in full-force.
Oh, and I graduate in December.

When I look back I am amazed at the energy I must have had to get through the zillion courses needed to complete my education. I can recall the many Saturdays, when most were goofing or resting, buried waist deep in paper at the school library.
I hope you have a mellow day or two:)

Now go enjoy yourself for 3 days. This coming from the guy who gets every second week off.

Vacation is good! Putting too many things on your plate: bad!

I start my vacation this friday.

The Black Rock Desert in Nevada, here I come!!!!!

I love Burning Man.

I love it so. :)

Not to discourage you, but I actually miss the days of school, sometimes.

Being a real, live "adult" can sure suck. Mortgage, taxes, investing, bills etc. Bring back the good ol' days of term papers, presentations and lectures!

Of course, I realize that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, so I imagine I'd last all of a week back in school before I started to go apeshit and want out!

Oh I feel you! Right now at this very moment especially!

So what's the party girl going to be when she grows up?

Enjoy the vacation and good luck with the last semester.

Cooper: "how do you do it?" Is a comment I hear often. My response, the same way you do, I just get up and do it.

Py: Thanks, hon. Brain break, and tan are in full-effect.

egan: a semester and a quarter. My school is odd how they break it up. It's suppose to speed things up, which it does, but it also wears the brain down.

P: Well, then, later today?

Jay: Yeah, no, shit.
Burning Man sounds like a complete and total blast. I already know you will, but have fun and tell me what you remember when you get back.

OMC: Well, see here's the thing, minus the man and kids I'm pretty sure I'd qualify as an 'adult' I just don't nec. act like it on any kind of regular basis. And thank god for that.

Bre: Cheers, honey. I feel you pain.

okay...back to my brain break.

dan: Crap. You mean I have to grow-up when I graduate? Crap. Crappity, crap, crap. No one told me that part...

So I assume a good clock-cleaning is out?

Party Girl said...

Meat: Clock or cock? One is out of the question and one isn't. However, I need some clarification first.
